Have you ever sat at home watching a movie and wished you had the chance to see this movie run in cinemas again? Go with your friends and feel the full momentum? The film I’d most love to see revisit the cinema for one more showing is 1997′s Selena. If you are a Selena Quintanilla Perez fan, you’ll probably know what I mean. Unless of course, you also happen to be a die-hard Jennifer Lopez hater. But I don’t think anyone can hate Jennifer Lopez’s portrayal of the late Selena in this film! The music scenes are amazing too, I’d have to get up and dance to “Como la Flor” and “La Carcacha”! I’d love to experience the cinema atmosphere at the end as the song “Dreaming of You” eases in and we see a video montage of remembering Selena, who tragically died at the age of 23 after being shot by her fanclub President, Yolanda Salvidar.

A&E’s BIOGRAPHY Channel is going to be airing a Selena documentary/biography on Oct. 16, 2008. Watch for it on the BIO schedule soon. http://www.biography.com/listings/daily.do
